Motorized potentiometer goes back and forth and back and forth

May 7, 2022

we got a motorized pot sample in and wanted to test it out. this is a 10K linear slide pot with a small 5V motor on the bottom that has a small belt to move the slider automatically. some very fancy a/v boards use these so you can quick change presets. we’re testing the motor movement with a DRV8830 STEMMA QT breakout we designed before covid and then sorta got distracted from. the pots are on order now, and we’ll also try to release this lil breakout! – video.
